Nigerian activist and public speaker, Reno Omokri has taken to Twitter to enlighten Nigerian celebrities.
Reno Omokri advised Nigerian celebrities to be sensitive to the national mood, adding that dozens of citizens were brutally murdered in cold blood about 48 hours ago.
He also noted that now is not the time to post sexy/half-naked photos of themselves.
Taking to his Twitter account, reno maintained that celebrities should make use of their platforms for more pressing needs.
He tweeted,
As celebrities, please be sensitive to the national mood. Dozens of our citizens were killed 48 hours ago during a church service in the #OwoMassacre.
Perhaps now is not the time to release sexy and half-naked photos. It makes us all look like an uncaring nation of degenerates!
You have influence as a celebrity. #OwoMassacre occurred. Rather than use your celebrity to help victims, you use it to market your semi-nakedness. Is this the right time for that? “
